Rankingløp (2016-06-01)

Extremely hot today and tired legs from the equally hot hill climbing exercise yesterday, my average heart rate was 10-15 bpm lower than normal race pace:

OK to the first 4 controls, had my only split time win to #2 where I also lead the race.

To #5 I ran too straight and got stuck in the cliffs, costing me 10-15 s.

Very good to #6.

Missed 30-40 seconds on #7, I should have followed the big path 125 m further SE and attacked the control from there.

OK to #8 but the fastest guys beat me by half a minute.

Pretty good to #9.

Some stomach problems as I passed the path towards #10, had to make a 30+ second stop here.

Good route to #11 but then I failed to spot the control (which was located slightly north of the center of the circle) and lost another 30+ seconds.

OK to #12 but since the entire area is covered by logging slash it was a hard slog!
