Good until just before #6 where I had to stop about 45 sec for a stomach issue, then even thoughI hit the control nicely, I had attempted to pass through #7 on the way, without spotting it.
I ran this race as a test, with a thumb compass for the first time in more than 30 years, and now I failed to hold the direction as closely as I'm used to. As I passed the control the first time, I though I saw samething down to my right, but I wasn't going to repeat the mistake I did last Sunday when I stopped too early. I lost more than a minute here.

Next I ran a compass direction to #8, but again failed, I saw the indistinct path but it was so narrow that I thought it wouldn't be mapped. Lost 90 sec!

My bad streak continued when I failed to understand where I should leave the path towards #9, lost another 45 sec.

I made two mistakes towards #11: First when I left the path too soon, thinking I was already on the downward bend (maybe 15 sec due to the boulders and rocky ground?), than at the end I should have taken the path further around an attacked via the marsh and the reentrant that lead directly to the control.

OK to 12 & 13.

Total time loss was between 4 and 5 minutes, so my worst orienteering so far this year.
