Oslo City Cup Finale (2019-05-07)

Due to business travel to the US I missed out on the last two qualification races so I had to start outside the chasing group. Due to some sort of glitch by the organizers (or maybe because I started too early?) I fell out of the result system, but the time I got would have given me the 3rd fastest time in my class. Nils Hæstad in second was in reach with a near-perfect race (see below) but Ivar Maalen who won just ran too fast for me.

I messed up badly on my first pass through the atrium buildings, went the wrong way and lost about 45 sec to #9.

I believe my route to #4 was not the best, going south and under the road at once was probably faster, and to #6 I ran through too much slow vegetation.

Some hesitations on other controls but mostly not too bad. I was pleasantly surprised when I managed to more or less run (for relatively slow versions of running) all the way up to the last control.
