WOC Tour 6 H65 (2022-06-30)

My best sprint race result of the tour resulted in a 2nd place after the dominant winner of all three sprint events, Paul Alle.

We were allowed to look at an unmarked map before we started, so I had memorized the gates in and out of the kindergarten just after the starting point. This resulted in good splits and a race lead on control #3.

OK to #4, then I could have been 5+ seconds faster leaving the area towards #5.

OK to #6 & #7, I grasped the mapping of earth banks and bridges very quickly.

#8 was where I messed up badly: First I had problems orienting my map, spending almost 15 seconds before I had located the proper fence opening and started running, then I did not spot the hedge opening almost hidden by the control circle so instead I thought I was very smart by running around to the left. Total time loss 30 sec.

Since I hadn't found that opening into #8 I also failed to use it to #9, but here I probably lost 5 sec max.

I ran OK to the rest of the controls, including leg wins to #13 & #16 (the last control, where I used my old obstacle running training when vaulting over the passable fence).
