Ås by Night & Fog Cup #1 (22-11-2016)

Quite happy with my orienteering tonight even though I lost some time several places:

I decided from the start that I would try to run straight as much as possible, instead of taking easier and possibly faster route choices along paths and larger features.

This worked very nicely to #1, 2, 3 & 4, then a little hesitation into #5 & 6.

Towards #7 I started out with bad direction and recovered too late, but when I passed the hill I realized that I could go on to the ditch and follow that to the junction, which I did. Lost a couple of minutes here.

I ran OK to #8, but was very insecure to #9 & #10, lost 1-2 minutes on each of them.

The most irritating time loss came from the last control to the finish, where I got stuck on top of a cliff that didn't exist when the map was made, i.e. the rock quarry has been extended quite a bit further north. The 30 sec I lost there allowed my club mate Sören to beat me, but since we ended up in 9th and 10th place this didn't really matter.
