Lost my head completely after the brutal push up from the start, that cost me 5 minutes. I was so focused on looking for a boulder that I didn't even notice #3 even though my track log show I must have passed within a few meters of it!

I lost 20-30 sec out of #3 because I didn't see the path route until after I hit the big marsh.

Another time loss (30-45 sec?) to #8 when lost control of my bearing in the intricate and partly unmapped path system.

I knew that it was probably faster to go around on the paths to the last control but decided to get some more training in running on a bearing since this was a less serious event and I definitely need to practice!
