Sierra 3-day at Truckee: Sprint H50 (08-09-2011)

First of three races, severely jet-lagged after flying in last night:

Ran ok to the first two controls, then lost concentration and didn't see the third control on the map, so I ended up with a DSQ.

I made two control misses, on the 9th where I started looking for nr 6 again and lost about 1:15, and on nr 14 where I started looking in the wrong corner of the building. I lost about 30 seconds here.

A perfect race should have taken about 15 min in my current shape.

I noticed the altitude (nearly 2000 m) very strongly starting at the 5th control, all the uphill legs were a struggle.
