Oslo Rundt På Stive Bein (16-05-2020)

The first (semi-)real competition in these Covid-19 times: A Master's night & day relay around Oslo, I ran the last (7th) leg for NSK's 2nd team. I was extremely impressed by the course setter who managed to get us all down the 400m of elevation without any injuries, keeping us away from all the boulder fields so that even the steepest areas were all grass and moss covered.

I hesitated a bit into the 2nd control, had to turn 10-15m uphill at the end. To #3 I stopped first on another cliff just under the control circle.

#4 was the only real mistake, costing me 30-45 s when I hit a fixed control in the marsh below.

The rest of the race was OK, I could have saved a bit of climb to #13 but ran where the vegetation lead me.

In the end we got 6th place, the same as when I started. I did not see a single competitor, making this a zero virus risk event.
