PWT Cruise 2018 (02.12.2018)

Same modified map as for the earlier qualification, ran a duel against a guy from the other qualification course and won that so I would run the semi final the next day.

The semi had three maps (ABC, no map images since we had to return them after each loop) and 6 runners in each heat, so each of us had a unique forking combination. I started with C which was more than twice as long as A or B, so I was in 4th place at the first map change, then in the lead after the A loop and 5 minutes in front after the final B loop!

This was of course far too much and it turned out that I skipped some intermediate controls on that first map when I turned the map around while going from the top (Sun) deck to deck 2 which was mirrored and turned around front to back. If I had taken those controls I would certainly have been in the top 3 who qualified for the final.
