Oslo City Cup 1 (2015-04-07)

First high-speed race of the year, my sprint technique was very rusty, but my foot isn't too painful 3-4 hours later so I'm quite happy. (I started my watch a minute too late, my real running time was 21:25)

1. Big trouble from the start! I finally found the start triangle and a line from it towards a control with a '1' digit near it, but when was more than half-way to #10 I realized that this was the wrong control. Time loss 30-45 sec?

2. OK

3. Ran past the end of the wall midway and had to turn back. 10 sec?

4. Going left here might have been a few meters shorter, but much more complicated and several stairs so I think my route was the best.

5. Transport

6. The two runners I saw in front of me went left here but I was certain that my choice was faster, and I did gain some time.

7-8-9. OK

10. I saw one guy going right here but that must have been slower!

11. I believe both routes were pretty much identical here, just avoid any hesitation.

12. Transport

13. OK, except that I had planned to leave the path halfway up and take the road south of where I did end up, but this probably didn't make any significant difference.
