Veritas Night-O (13-11-2019)

Way too many mistakes, mostly due to the light drizzle which made it hard to read the map with orienteering glasses: I tended to just aim for the middle of the circle without attempting to read the fine detail.

Did not see the reflex marker on #1, lost 5-10 s.

Parallel mistake down to #2, I intende to run underneath the line and started to search for the control when I got down to the shore. Lost ~40 s here!

OK to #3, 4 & 5, then some hesitation while trying to get out of the green forest towards #6.

Very easy to #6, 7 & 8.

Tried to do something a bit too fancy to #9 by running zig-zag, this meant that I could not see the reflex which was located on the outside of the fence, and a bit further SW than indicated on the map. Lost about 45 s here.

Another 45 s lost towards #10, then OK to #11.

A minute wasted searching for #12, this was purely a map reading error.

OK to #13, 14, 15 , 16 & 17.

At this point my son who had started after me had caught up, he started on the natural route between the banana-shaped buildings, so I decided to try something tricky, i.e. I ran underneath the buildings through the parking garage, but I did not gain anything and ended up meeting Fredrik when he had punched the last control and was running for the finish.
