Another fantastic group hike to fixed controls! Today Oslo was the warmest capitol city in Europe, even warmer than Madrid, but a nice breeze meant that it was still very nice to hike up to Gyrihaugen (almost 600 m of ascent), then a great swim break before we went on to KP 18.

At this point it was obvious that the full trip would take quite a long time since we had already used about 3.5 hours, so 6 of us (3 couples) decided to take the shortest route back to the cars. This made for a total trip of almost exactly 12 km and we made it back to Oslo around 21:45.

The rest of the group went on to KP 15, we will learn tomorrow how long that took. My guess is that they added about 1.5 hours so they should be back to the cars around 22:30, maybe a little less if everyone worked hard to keep the speed up!
