MWOC Sprint Q M60-4 (07-07-2018)

Wobbly run with a few mistakes but fast enough to qualify for the A final tomorrow. :-)

OK to #1, then I decided that it was too far to run into the fenced-in area and back out on the east side so I took the much easier path left instead.

No real route choices to #3, 4, 5, 6 or 7.

The '8' digit partly covers the glassed-in connection between two buildings, I did not see that on my race map and planned to run through here! I was just 10 s slower than Rolf Lund, the winner, so I probably didn't lose as much as I first believed.

From 9 to 10 I lost 19 s to Rolf, so here I suspect he might have gone left?

The real disaster happened to #12 where I didn't see the yellow open up to the control and ran past one more building, losing 43 s to the best split. Then, adding insult to injury, I was so insecure that I turned back after running 20-30 m and checked the control code once more, adding another 19 s.

#14 turned up so quickly that I ran straight past it, adding 15 more seconds and a total time loss of well over a minute within less than 200 m. :-(
