OBIK P19 / ABK 4 (20.08.2013)

Missed the first control, for the first time in a long time, lost 30-40 sec.

Started in the wrong direction towards #2 but recovered quickly.

Same kind of mistake leaving 2 towards #3.

Running on map memory towards #4 I took a path to the right far too early, realized the error when I glimpsed the field and turned back towards the path. Lost 10-15 sec?

OK to #5.

Good flow to #6

Left the path a little bit too late towards #7, but the actual miss was smaller than shown by the GPS track, probably 10-15 sec.

OK to #8

Before I started I noticed that several runners ran all the way around to the south on the main path to get to the finish line, but I decided that it had to be faster to go straight as long as I found the indistinct paths, which I did. It will be interesting to see if Bjørn S who beat me by a few seconds on this leg ran around!
