Gløggløpet (2017-12-16)

The traditional last race of the year in Oslo, I ran OK to the first 8 controls, I even won the split to #8, but that might have been partially because the control was almost certainly located one knoll too far south where I hit it along my route.

I should have turned around 180 degrees and taken the right-hand paths, instead I started going straight and left but ended up running much too long. I lost at least two mintes here and 3:08 to the best split!

Perfect to #10 except that I didn't see the flag so I spent about 30 sec looking for it.

OK to #11, 12 & 13.

My original plan was to take a left route around the knoll into #14 but I lost the paths under the snow cover and ended up going more or less straight, orienteering on the contour detail.

I was about 2.5 minutes behind my club mate Sindre Langaas, most of that was lost on the stupid route to #9.
