Skjærgårdscup 3 (23-07-2022)

Øyvind Thon is a "bad man". On this the third and final race of the series, he had gotten back in shape and ran away from everyone. I felt that I did an OK race in the beginning, just a few seconds slower than Øyvind to #4, but on the longer leg to #5 he left in the dust by a minute. Jon Kaarby was almost as fast as Øyvind and moved into second.

I ran OK to #6 & #7, except for spending a few second checking out the boulder just north of the control on #7.

#8 was my big error, I lost the direction after going around the green and only recovered when I spotted the houses below me. Lost 1.5 minute to Jon here and allowed Ivar Maalen to pass me as well.

OK to the last control but then I lost half a minute to the finish, blaming it partly due to a new (unmapped) house halfway down the hill!
